Computer Viruses
My friends computer at work got one of the new email worms going around. I was trying to explain to him why using Windows and Outlook was such a bad thing. This was my not-so-technical explanation of why,lol
“MS Outlook is basically like the sorority girl at the party after 4 hrs of drinking going ‘maaaan I am sooooooo drunk’ to the football team,basically the next hour she is going to be probed for any way to penetrate her…. *poof* we have the digital version, outlook “

maybe you could further the comparison by bringing VD and condoms into the analogy 🙂 hell, viruses are compared to their biological namesake enough already, might as well propogate the metaphor…

yes but using outlook is bascially like using a quilt as a condom. I mean c’mon now…it’s outlook.

nah, i was thinking like “if you wanna bang the slutty sorority chick, you better use a condom, like McAfee VirusShield. but it’s not 100% effective.”

sort of but that would be the inverse of the analogy. Since the slutty chick is outlook, and the football team are would-be hackers spreading the viruses to your pc via outlook. Soo….
I guess the one who should wear the condom is her boy friend who doesn’t realize he’s dating the neighborhood bicycle… *poof* read as – your average windows user.
side note: said windows users are also known to say things like ” There is NO reason why my AOl connection should be running slow, I upgraded to AOL 9.0 OPTIMIZED!
